Alex Herrera I gotta say, this album just draws you into the cloudy grey skies, light rain, while walking through the big city. Can't really pick a favorite track because this whole album is just fantastic.

Track Name: Dreamfasting
It's not easy to perceive the difference between dreams and walking so aimlessly. Like the feeling of driving alone; Like an archer's crooked arrow plaguing my brain. Uncertainty is something I’m accustomed to.

It all hangs over my head, the smell of sulfur lingers and it's wretched. Like the lakes a waste of time, our interests somehow misaligned. They misaligned.

That night you wrecked the car you left me in the dark. In the passenger seat, broken fences surrounded me. It’s not easy to perceive the difference between dreams and walking so aimlessly.

I'm walking so aimlessly.

It all burnt down, it's a wild fire at the end of our destination; the smoke almost took you in. It's not easy to perceive the difference between dreams and walking so aimlessly.

Like the feeling of driving alone; Like an archer's crooked arrow plaguing my brain. Uncertainty is something I’m accustomed to.
Track Name: Review Day
I can't imagine what would have happened.
It wasn't until review day that it all sunk in.

Was it supposed to be like this?
Our lives crumble down like cliffs,
With a false bottom in all directions.
And those dangers than lurked ahead...

Remember when everything that happened was for a reason?
I'm past all the bullshit excuses. Yeah, I'm done.
Track Name: Urban Undertow
I’m the coffee stain on your favorite lace,
I’m the evacuation of your common place.
I’m the gaps and bridges; over all those states.
That brought you to this.

You’re the alcoholic stain on my favorite jacket.
You’re the overcast sky, no one knows how black it is.
You’re my number one, but can’t be at all fanatic.
How can this be safe?

As uncomfortable, as unwanted visits,
As my fate explodes.
And I think you know, that I stood at the entrance,
Although I know it’s closed.

This felt audited, not regarding finances.
And I would go for broke, taking my chances.
An urban undertow, pulling and grasping,
Is how this city flows.

As uncomfortable, as unwanted visits,
As my fate explodes.
And I think you know, that I stood at the entrance,
Although I know it’s closed.
Track Name: Further Than Comprehension
Those surroundings never as lush,
As my mind is fantasizing to that horizon.
I ran a cord, stretched it to our old place.
Fill the sky with light at such a rapid pace.

Here the mountains seem to create a claustrophobic piece,
It always felt like an extension.
Canvas was hanging and illuminating,
I felt open winds roaring further than comprehension.

Where were we, when you said
"There could be no comparison."
Half way there? Or still half way out?
Track Name: Quiet, World
I thought you were a break from the daily monotony.
And I know that it's the same. I'm still stuck in this valley.

Keep running through my mind, like a marathon everlasting.
Keep tossing me around, a crumpled paper in a waste basket.

The collapsing effect is one for the record books.
Three steps from the edge, heads turn around;
Disheartened looks.

And I have to decide how I want to remember them.
They are all shadowy masses, and points in time I crafted.

Keep running through my mind, keep tossing me around.
Keep running through my mind like a marathon everlasting.
Keep tossing me around, a crumpled paper in a waste basket.

The collapsing effect is one for the record books.
Three steps from the edge, heads turn around;
Disheartened looks.

I woke up, and found it hard to even stand.
Unsuccessful doing the best you can.
Too parched to drink, too indisposed to think,
That I am weak, so weak.
